These rules provide specific and detailed information regarding the guidelines that apply exclusively to Evolved Events. By participating in Evolved Events, you agree to adhere to all the rules listed below, as well as our Terms of Service and Evolution Rules.

The motive of this document is to clearly outline our expectations, how we handle situations when events do not go as planned, the process for managing payments, and how we maintain an evolved environment.

General Rules

Respect
At all times, participants are expected to maintain a respectful and positive demeanor toward all members of the community, including fellow participants, moderators, event organizers, and influencers. While we encourage a competitive spirit and understand that friendly banter can be part of the fun, it is crucial that all interactions remain respectful and within the bounds of good sportsmanship. We will not tolerate blatant disrespect, sexual assault, discrimination, excessive profanity, or threats. This includes through the event chat, Discord, and Minecraft skins/usernames.

Fair Play
The use of any client that provides an unfair advantage over other participants is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • X-Ray Modifications: Any tool or modification that allows you to see through blocks or locate resources that would otherwise be hidden.
  • Mini Maps: Mini maps that reveal the location of other players, entities, or hidden resources are not allowed. General mini maps are allowed.
  • Player Finder Tools: Tools or modifications that assist in locating other players or tracking their movements.
  • PvP Enhancements: Any client-side modifications that enhance your combat abilities, such as auto-aim, reach hacks, or modified hitboxes.
  • Insider Information: Possessing or utilizing insider information that is not available to all participants is forbidden. This includes ghosting/providing insight while spectating.
  • Teaming Violations: Teaming with other teams or engaging in alliances in events where such actions are prohibited. Truces are permitted, but teams must remain distance.
  • One Account Per User: Alternate accounts are strictly disallowed. We may ask for verification for accounts that share the same IP address.
If you are unsure whether your client or any modifications you are using comply with our rules, it is your responsibility to contact an event organizer for clarification before participating.

Event Specific Rules
In addition to the general rules outlined for participation, each event may have its own set of specific rules tailored to the unique nature of that event. It is your responsibility to stay informed.

Violation Of Rules
Depending on the severity of the offense, punishments may include, but are not limited to, verbal or written warnings, mutes, or bans. Most mutes and bans are permanent. If you are muted or banned, you are prohibited from using any alternate accounts. Additionally, you and your team may be disqualified from the game or from receiving rewards if you are found in violation.

Potential Issue During Event

Disconnects
Disconnections can occur due to various reasons, such as accidental issues, server problems, or internet disruptions. Whether you are revived is at the discretion of the event organizers. The following is a guideline but not an absolute rule:
  • You are more likely to be respawned if the event is tournament-based or if the disconnect occurs near the start of the event.
  • You are less likely to be revived if the disconnection happens late in the event or if it gave you a significant advantage.
Server Crashes
In the event of a server crash or severe technical issues, we may take different approaches depending on the situation. If the event can be recovered quickly, we will bring the remaining players back to continue as normal. If the event is still in its early stages, we will restart it. However, if the issue is irrecoverable, we may need to postpone the event to a later date. At this time, we do not have the resources to compensate near-winners due to technical issues.

We understand that technical issues can be frustrating. While we thoroughly test with our staff and in-house team, it's challenging to account for every possible combination of circumstances. Rest assured, we are continuously working to improve and minimize bugs with each event. After every event, we review what went well and what didn’t, and strive to make enhancements based on these findings. We appreciate your patience as we continue to evolve.

If the staff determine that a team is exploiting any aspect of the game, we reserve the right to intervene as we see fit. Our goal is to apply the rules consistently and fairly. If staff cause any issues, please kindly report to a manager.

Payment Rewards

Rewards Methods
Rewards can be distributed in two ways: via PayPal or as 1.5x Evolution store credit. For U.S. recipients, if total earnings exceed six hundred US dollars in a calendar year, a 1099-MISC form must be filed. Store credit is not subject to tax reporting requirements. Typically, the payment will be made to one designated user, who may choose to distribute the earnings among others at their discretion. If no agreement is reached, a PvP competition may be used to decide the distribution. Upon request and at Evolution’s discretion, payments may be divided among multiple users. A form must be completed within 5 business days after the form has been received before any payment is issued.

Violating our rules
If any rules are violated, we may initiate an investigation to ensure fair play by the winners. Payments may be withheld until the investigation is concluded. We may also request a user to screenshare in real time to verify fair gameplay. If a user refuses to participate in the investigation, Evolution reserves the right to cancel or withhold payment. The funds would be returned to Evolution. The rules cover both game-altering guidelines and respect policies. We will not reward individuals who verbally insult or use inappropriate language toward any of our members. Our goal is to create and maintain a welcoming environment.
