Evolution Network Rules

Welcome to Evolution! Our goal is to provide a fair, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for everyone. These rules apply across the entire Evolution network, including all servers, gamemodes, lobbies, and Evolution-hosted events.

By playing on Evolution, you agree to follow these rules, as well as any additional rules specific to individual gamemodes or events.

🤝 General Conduct
  1. Respect Others. Treat players and staff with respect. Harassment, bullying, targeted hostility, or discriminatory behavior is not tolerated.
  2. No Inappropriate Behavior. Sexual harassment, hate speech, threats, or other seriously inappropriate conduct is prohibited.
  3. No Impersonation. Do not impersonate staff, other players, or official Evolution representatives to mislead others.
  4. No Disruptive Behavior. Intentionally provoking, harassing, or disrupting the community or normal gameplay is not allowed.
  5. Follow Staff Instructions. Players must follow reasonable instructions from the Evolution Team regarding server rules, moderation, and safety.
💬 Chat & Communication
  1. No Spam or Flooding. Avoid repetitive messages, excessive caps, message flooding, or other disruptive chat behavior.
  2. No Inappropriate Content. Sharing NSFW content, hate speech, slurs, or other prohibited material is not allowed.
  3. No Unauthorized Advertising. Advertising other servers, services, or communities without permission is prohibited.
  4. No Malicious Links. Do not share phishing links, malicious downloads, scams, or links intended to compromise another person's account or device.
  5. Respect Privacy. Sharing another person's private or identifying information without their consent is prohibited.
  6. No Chat Evasion. Do not use altered spelling, symbols, alternate accounts, or other methods to bypass chat filters or moderation punishments.
⚔️ Fair Play & Exploits
  1. No Cheating. Hacked clients, prohibited modifications, X-ray, and tools that provide an unfair advantage are not allowed.
  2. No Exploit Abuse. Using bugs, glitches, duplication methods, or unintended mechanics to gain an unfair advantage is prohibited.
  3. No Unauthorized Automation. Macros, scripts, bots, or automated actions that violate server rules or provide an unfair advantage are not permitted.
  4. No Competitive Manipulation. Manipulating statistics, leaderboards, rankings, or competitive outcomes through dishonest methods is prohibited.
  5. Report Exploits. Players are encouraged to report significant bugs and exploits to the Evolution Team rather than abuse them.
👤 Accounts & Identity
  1. Account Responsibility. Players are responsible for activity conducted through their accounts, including activity by anyone they allow to access them.
  2. No Punishment Evasion. Using alternate accounts, another player's account, or other methods to bypass bans, mutes, or restrictions is prohibited.
  3. No Unfair Alt Abuse. Alternate accounts must not be used to manipulate rewards, statistics, voting, competitions, or other server systems.
  4. No Identity Deception. Do not use misleading identities or impersonation to deceive players or interfere with moderation.

Additional restrictions on alternate accounts may apply within individual gamemodes and events.

🛡️ Player Interactions & Exploitation
  1. No Scamming. Deceptive trades, fraudulent deals, or deliberately misleading players to steal items or currency are prohibited where covered by the applicable gamemode rules.
  2. No Malicious Exploitation. Taking advantage of bugs, broken systems, or unintended mechanics to steal resources or harm other players unfairly is prohibited.
  3. Respect Protected Areas. Do not bypass claims, protections, or restricted areas to interfere with another player's builds or property.
  4. Follow Gamemode Rules. PvP, raiding, griefing, trapping, and other competitive interactions may be permitted in certain gamemodes. Their legality is determined by the rules of the specific gamemode.
⚙️ Server Integrity & Performance
  1. No Intentional Lagging. Deliberately causing server lag, crashes, or instability is prohibited.
  2. No Harmful Builds or Machines. Builds, farms, redstone systems, or other contraptions that seriously impact server performance may be restricted or removed.
  3. No Exploiting Server Infrastructure. Attempting to disrupt, compromise, or gain unauthorized access to Evolution's systems, services, or infrastructure is prohibited.
  4. No Abuse of Server Features. Do not exploit commands, plugins, menus, rewards, or other server features in ways that were not intended.
🚨 Rule Violations & Punishments

Violations may result in one or more of the following actions, depending on the severity and circumstances:

  • Verbal or formal warnings.
  • Removal of inappropriate content or unfairly obtained items and rewards.
  • Temporary restrictions or mutes.
  • Removal from a gamemode, event, or leaderboard.
  • Temporary or permanent bans from the network.

Serious violations may result in immediate punishment without a prior warning. Repeated violations or attempts to evade punishment may result in additional consequences.

⚖️ Rules & Enforcement

The Evolution Team is responsible for interpreting and enforcing these rules. Not every possible situation can be explicitly listed, and action may be taken against behavior that harms the community, compromises fair play, or threatens the stability of the network, even if it is not specifically mentioned above.

The Evolution Team may investigate suspected violations and determine appropriate consequences based on the circumstances and available evidence.

📜 Policy Acknowledgment. By accessing or playing on Evolution, you agree to follow these network-wide rules and any additional rules that apply to specific gamemodes or events.

Evolution reserves the right to update these rules when necessary. Players are responsible for staying informed of the current policies.
